Christmas Pageant

What would the Christmas season be without the children sharing the Christmas story in their own special way? It just wouldn’t be the same.  So we invite the whole family to come see and hear a wonderful presentation by the children, the title of which is yet announced (No, that’s not the actual title, we just have been given the title) but we hear that it’s a cute little story with lots of songs. So, you won’t want to miss it! So please join us on Sunday, Dec. 21st at the 9:30am morning worship service.

For Parents: Rehearsals for the Pageant will take place on Sunday, Dec, 14th (during Sunday school) and Saturday morning, Dec. 20th, at 10:30 am. It is vitally important to have the children at the rehearsals. Thanks for your help.

Holiday Open House
Dick and Mary (as we have done annually for the past five years) want to invite all of you to one of our family’s great holiday traditions – our holiday open house! Our open house will take place on Sunday, Dec. 21st from roughly 2:00-5:00 pm.
There will of course be plenty to eat, lots of good fellowship, music and sharing. The open house is a come and go event- come for as long as you can and go when you need to. We hope to see you there.

Christmas Eve Services

As we have done in previous years, we will celebrate the birth
of our Savior with two services on Christmas Eve.
Family Candlelight Service – Dec. 24th at 7:00 pm – Christmas
joy finds its way into our hearts as we sing the joy of Christ’s coming and
hear anew the wonderful Christmas story. This first service is oriented
toward the whole family, especially the children, as the Pastor will be
sharing another wonderful Christmas story about “starlet” the tiny star
that heralded the Savior’s birth! The story was written by Arthur Ginfoli
and illustrated by Pat Schories. Our  service will conclude in the time
honored tradition with the lighting of candles and the singing of “Silent
Night, Holy Night.” Please come join us in celebrating the Savior’s birth.

Candlelight Service with Communion – Dec. 24th at 10:00 pm
For those who like a quieter, reflective service, we offer a Candlelight
service with communion, which symbolizes Christ’s presence among us. The
message theme will be Where to Look for God. Come and fill your heart with
the joy and peace of Christmas.

Nursery

The Spiritual Growth Board has been working hard to insure that nursery services are provided at the time of worship service. We are pleased to announce that Sue Sally will be joining the staff as our nursery attendant. Sue works with the Head Start program, and is a certified worker in our After School Child Care Program. We welcome her aboard and hope to assure parents that nursery care will be available.
